this is my 1st post in this blog... sorry lahh... i'm so lazy to blog... even my own blog i left it for quite some time... but then i saw u all writing on your own life... so i decided to talk about mine too:)
1stly 1st, i've already finish my 1st semestral exam which took me about 2 months ++ (siao de this sch... haha... as usual... complains). The worst thing is other course students they have got study break before the real ICA exam which is the 60% weightage papers whereas we doesn't have...T.T UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have common test for about 1 & half month then straight to the ICA exam. So I really don't have enough time to study... And I'm so worry that I might fail this semester then I will have to attend a remedial class and had to sit for another exam to pass the module.. Worry ~~
Ok after ICA exam which is very stress, another Xtra stress thing came... that is clinical attachment... WTH!!! We're just yr 1 sem 1 man!!!
haizz... anything... no choice... had to go for clinical right after the exam and the worse thing is the week is YOG week which has a lot of fun... oh ya before i forget... before the clinical i'm on duty as a motivator for YOG... and we represented Samsung... and the benefit is we get a concert ticket, limited YOG badge, handphone strap and lucky draw for samsung latest phone... haha... but i think i'm not so lucky...
The sad thing was that the motivator duty was a 6 days duty... but then i got to go for only 2 days duty T.T...
The duty is really fun... we get to shout our heart out... that's 1 of the destress method after the stressed 2 months... on the 2nd day which is my last duty day... i shout till my no voice... haha... the 1st time experience of shouting till lose voice.... the feeling is unforgetable... it's like no matter how hard u talk but then ur voice still sounded very soft... haha... FUNNY!!!
ok... go back to clinical... ya i'm now still having my clinicals... another 2 more weeks... and i will have 6 weeks break... WOW!!!! like it!!! hahaha...
the clinical duration is 1 month. I was posted to Singapore General Hospital - National Cancer Centre. For the 1st 2 weeks i was posted to treatment room where all of them are palliative cases... and the following 2 weeks which is next 2 weeks was in simulation room where the tattoos and the treatment field are drawn on the patient's body...
This 2 weeks of clinical was fun but then it's very boring when waiting patient to come. we sat there wait till everyone open mouth... haha... then when patient come we all jump up and become very 'jing shen'... haha... very funny... if u all here, u all sure laugh...
ok shall talk about my supervisor... they are very kind and funny and cute.... 1 of them is a malay and another is a chinese from china... the malay is very cute... she keep on talking and talking... she likes to talk and love to laugh... the room always fill with her voices and laughter... and about the china man... he's very happy everyday de leh.... keep on singing... haha...so funny..... and he walk damn fast lohhh.... i have to keep on chasing him... haizz... and he talk very soft lo... always cannot hear what he says and always must 'HUH???' then the malay will say talk louder.... haha.... very funny lahh this 2 partner... haizz...wanna leave them soon.... a bit 'she bu de'...
about patient... we treated many different site of tumour cancer lahh: cranium, lung, stomach, bladder, prostate, breast...
the breast cancer patient most of them they cut off 1 side of their breast and left 1... but then dunno why the tumour recurrent... so pity for them... really the 1at time to see tat... so sad for them... 1 of the patient she fighted the cancer for 14 years already... initially she has breast cancer... then she was treated successfully... and then now the tumour metastasize to the spine... really pity lahhh... everytime come for treatment she will cry for pain... and her husband really love her loh... the love is so thick that i was really touched ehh... aiyoyo... very pity ahh...
another patient very funny... she has hearing problem... 1 day when we ask for her name and ic... she keep on laughing and say she forgot her name already... then when we take her into the treatment room she keep on laughing laughing and laughing... dunno wat she is laughing also... nothing funny to laugh... then after that only we know that she has hearing problem and she cannot understand wat we are talking... haizz... really pity... and under her family member... it's NIL... really pity lo...
haizzz... everyday face those palliative cases really very sad...
still got a lot, various type of patient.... cannot finish ahh.... haha.....
